WHO WE ARE
2Degrees is a website for South East Queensland residents who care about the environment and who demand strong leadership from all levels of government. We want everyone in this region who believes in a future beyond fossil fuel dependency, to be informed and inspired about positive actions that the individual, community, business and government can take.
However, the need to respond effectively to the twin threats of climate change and peak oil has moved us to launch 2Degrees as a way of harnessing some of the latent discontent in our society about inaction on climate change and peak oil.
We at 2Degrees want to help create a political mandate for our leaders to take effective action on climate change and peak oil.
